I am currently conducting a research study as part of the pilot for my dissertation, which focuses on understanding the beliefs and practices of in-service teachers regarding Multilingual Learners and linguistically responsive teaching. The purpose of my study is to examine the experiences and perspectives of in-service teachers in working with MLs.
Participation in the study involves completing a brief online survey, which is expected to take approximately 10 minutes. Additionally, participants who complete the survey will enter a raffle to receive one of two $50 Amazon gift cards as a token of appreciation for their time.
To participate you must be:
18 or older
In-service teacher
High school content area teacher (i.e., history and social studies, mathematics, science, English language arts)

Predictors of Teachers' Beliefs and Practices Regarding Emergent Bilingual Students
Teachers' perceptions of multilingual learners: Does a state-mandated course change them?
The purpose of this study is to check the effectiveness of the state-mandated Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) course on pre-service teachers' beliefs about multilingual learners.
If you are a pre-service teacher planning to take the SEI course soon, you are qualified to take part in this research.
